Sports Administrator [Ref : SA(SLS)]

 

Under the auspices of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China, the SF&OC Sports Legacy Company Ltd (SLS) aims to develop the sports potential of underprivileged students through a team of dedicated athletes. We are now looking for the right candidates to fill up of the following posts on contract basis, which is renewable subject to the prevailing conditions.

 

Job Duties

The SA(SLS) will be responsible for the following duties:

  • the overall administration of the Sports Legacy Scheme;
  • the development of the overall training programme and career planning to coaches and students;
  • the organization of seminars, workshops and life skills training to coaches and working staff members of the Scheme;
  • assisting in the promotion and public relations events to the Scheme;
  • managing the website and Facebook page of the Scheme;
  • providing sports specific coaching at designated school(s) if required.

 

Requirement

Applicants should have:

  • a recognized university degree or post-secondary qualifications with Sports / Physical Education / Recreation / Social Work;
  • at least 3 years' work experience, preferably in sport-related fields with event management and marketing experience;
  • devoted to serve athletes and willing to work in irregular hours;
  • has good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.

 

Remuneration
Successful candidates will be appointed on contract basis with monthly basic salary plus gratuity equals to 5% of the total basic salary drawn during the period of contract upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Fringe benefits include MPF, medical, paid leave and employee's insurance.

Successful candidate may be offered post of similar ranking in other divisions of the Federation.
