National Performance Analyst Manager

 

To work closely with the Head of Elite Rugby Programme and Head of Elite Sevens to ensure that all game analyse needs are met both at International and Premiership Club level. To provide a tactical and technical support service to identified players and teams within the HKRFU player development and national team programmes.

 

Specific responsibilities:

  • To work closely with the General Manager Rugby Performance, Head of Elite Rugby Programme and Head of Elite Sevens to ensure that all performance analysis requirements are resourced within the HKRU High Performance framework.
  • To act as HKRU National Performance Analyst with the senior men’s national XVs squad.
  • Lead and develop analysis systems and structures to support both our National Teams and performance domestic leagues.
  • To provide tactical and technical support service via performance analysis to identified players within the various HKRU development programmes.
  • To assist in the player identification and recruitment process across all HKRU programmes.
  • To manage the part-time performance analysis staff so as to maximise opportunities across all national programmes
  • Assess, monitor and evaluate progress of development and HP players and report to appropriate personnel within the HKRU elite performance framework.
  • Attend identified games/ tournaments as a performance analyst as agreed with your line manager.

 

Your profile:

  • Degree in Sports Analysis or equivalent
  • 3 years relevant experience
  • Excellent working knowledge of Sports Code analysis systems
  • IRB Level 2 Coaching Certificate (or working towards)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to strict deadlines
  • Professional/ semi-professional playing experience
  • Ability to deliver performance based skill development session to all ages
