Social Media Officer
 

Job Description

  • Plan, organise and promote HKFA's events via social media accounts and official website.
  • Maintain and manage daily operations of HKFA's website and social media channels to ensure accurate and effective message can be delivered at the same time.
  • Design and produce visual materials (online banners and video clips) for HKFA's social media accounts and official website.
  • Produce e-newsletters/articles to raise public awareness about Hong Kong football.
  • Closely monitor the comment and feedback to HKFA in online communication platforms.
  • Manage and liaise with advertising agencies, design houses, printers and other vendors for marketing collaterals and premium production.
  • Manage on all the merchandising items to generate revenue for HKFA.
  • Originate and translate bilingual marketing materials when required i.e. websites content, social media message and football news etc.
  • Explore new social media opportunities respectively.
  • Perform other duties (e.g. assist in press conferences and media-related activities) as assigned.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree holder or equivalent, preferably in Communications or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant work experience in media agency or related to online advertising / marketing.
  • Willing to learn, detail minded and a good team player.
  • Strong organizational & presentation skills, creative and strong graphic sense.
  • Enthusiastic in football, have knowledge in local football is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and video-editing software.
  • Sound knowledge in online platforms.
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and (preferably) Mandarin.
  • Required to work overtime and irregular hours including full-day work on weekends and public holidays during certain periods.

 

The successful candidate will be offered on a contract term employment. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Our employee benefits include Group Medical and Life Insurance to the right candidate.
